  • Elizabeth Hope Hinchman is an Associate Attorney with Sharp, Sherman & Engle, LLC, where she practices in transactional matters and civil litigation. Elizabeth is admitted to the Colorado Bar.

    Elizabeth graduated cum laude from Furman University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication Studies. She joined and served in AmeriCorps NCCC for one year before attending the University of Oregon School of Law. While in law school, Elizabeth was an Executive Editor on the Journal of Environmental Law and Litigation as well as a Legal Research and Writing tutor. Her article, A Lack of International Agreement over the Protection of Forests: How Nations Have Risen to the Challenge of Forest Management, was published in the Journal of Environmental Law and Litigation during her final year of law school.

    Elizabeth grew up in South Carolina, and she has lived in Steamboat Springs since 2014, working first as a law clerk to Judge Michael O’Hara focused on water law and then as an attorney in various fields. She currently serves as a board member for the local chapter of the Sierra Club. Elizabeth is married to Bryce Hinchman. In her free time, she enjoys long distance running, skiing, hiking, yoga, and generally living in the mountains of Colorado.
